SCOT Silent Film: Sunrise, A Song of Two Humans (1927)

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, don’t miss this intimate tale about a man fighting the good and evil within him as he finds himself torn between a new romance and his wife.

The fairytale world created by director and leading German Expressionist, F.W Murnau has been highly acclaimed since its cinematic debut in 1927. The sets are extravagantly stylish, the actors are bewitching and the cinematography is groundbreaking.

International multi-award-winning-organist, Aaron Hawthorne, will perform a new and improvised score to this film LIVE at the Wurlitzer organ.

Aaron has recently finished a UK and Amsterdam tour performing an accompaniment to The Phantom of the Opera (1925) with a soprano which received critical acclaim, including a five-star review in The Herald (Glasgow).
