 Robert De Niro's is incredible as the titular Taxi Driver in this moody Neo Noir psychological character study. A disturbed Vietnam veteran who takes to working nights driving a cab "anytime, anywhere" to cope with his insomnia and urban alienation. Increasingly unstable and sick of the "filth" in New York City events take a misguided and disturbing turn into vigilantism.

Join us to witness "Gods lonely man" Travis Bickle on a downward spiral of loneliness, obsession and violence on the mean streets of a garbage strewn, crime choked, neon soaked 70's NYC. 


A quintessential unreliable narrator movie, Martin Scorsese's fever dream Taxi Driver has lost none of its sleazy, brutal power since its release 50 years ago.

Taxi Driver will be followed by a secret screening. 

The following film will be a bit of a palette cleanser with some loose thematic connections with Taxi Driver. Its another chaotic New York movie where our protagonist is sick of the city, nothing goes as planned, everyone's nuts and every encounter is dangerous or unpredictable. It even features a Taxi Driver. Its under seen, underappreciated and as dry as it is absurd. The only other clue we will provide is Its the sole directional effort of a well known comedic actor.
